Passenger boarding
The check-in operations will be carried out by our staff:
Sea routes without fast check-in: the passenger will receive the individual boarding card at the check-in and the automatic assignment of the accommodation number. The boarding card will also be valid as a cabin key, keep it carefully for the entire duration of the trip.
Sea routes with fast check-in: the passenger will receive the cabin key directly on board (at the reception or at the totems).
Vehicle boarding
Vehicles are boarded according to the instructions given by the Master of the vessel or by his subordinates. Vehicles can be placed on any deck of the ship’s garage.
A ticket will be given to the driver in the garage which indicates the garage-deck where the car is parked.
We remind you to take with you anything you need for the trip, as you will no longer be able to access the garages during the crossing for safety reasons.
Carers and passengers with no car will have to board on foot.
If you have a vehicle powered by LPG , you will have to report it to our staff when boarding, as it will be parked in dedicated areas of the garage .
Disembarkation and Check Out
To disembark the ship correctly, you must always respect the instructions sent by the crew via intercom announcements.
If you have a vehicle in tow, check on the coupon handed in the embarkation phase on which deck-garage you parked it.
Depending on the route, the period and the number of travellers, the need may arise to free up cabins and seats in advance of the ship’s arrival.
We therefore ask you for maximum collaboration in compliance with the announcements that indicate times and methods for issuing accommodation and meeting points for disembarkation.
For selected departures on the Civitavecchia – Barcelona, Porto Torres – Barcelona and Porto Torres – Civitavecchia routes and vice versa, it is possible to take advantage of the free Late Check Out service which allows you to extend your stay in the cabin until the morning. It is necessary to request the service during the boarding phase. In case of itinerary change, the service may not be available.
