** By “high season” we mean the periods: from 01/06/2024 to 30/09/2024, from 19/12/2024 to 07/01/2025, from 16/04/2025 to 22/04/2025, from 01/06/2025 to 30/09/2025, from 19/12/2025 to 31/12/2025.
The rest of the period must be considered “low season”.
For all ferries to and from Sardinia, departing from the ports of Civitavecchia and Cagliari, the fast check-in service is active in order to speed up boarding operations: the passenger must show the ticket to the Grimaldi staff directly at the boarding area, avoiding the line at the ticket office.
It is necessary be present at the ship boarding at least one hour before departure, except in exceptional cases communicated promptly by the Company. The passenger with accompanying vehicle must show up at check-in at least two hours before departure. In high season, queues should be considered. To avoid delays, it is good to inquire correctly about boarding procedures for ferries.
