The discount applies to the basic fare, accommodation supplements, pets, and accompanying vehicles; it does not apply to fixed fees, EU ETS ⃰ costs, on-board services such as meals, the spa, Wi-Fi, pets in cabin, or insurance policies.
The discount can be combined with any special offers active at the time of booking and with rates for residents/natives, unless otherwise specified in the relevant offer conditions. The discount cannot be combined with Young or Senior rates, nor with agreements/partnerships/other discount codes.
The discount is not retroactive: it is valid only for new bookings and does not apply to tickets initially issued before the start of the offer. Tickets issued under the Grimaldi Lines and Trenitalia promotion are subject to the change and cancellation rules for the chosen fare level, according to the current conditions.
*Pursuant to Directive (EU) 2023/959, maritime transport has been included in the European Union’s greenhouse gas emissions trading scheme (“EU ETS”). Effective January 1, 2024, a charge called “EU ETS costs” has been incorporated into the ticket price for each passenger and vehicle. The amount varies depending on the route and is non-discountable and non-refundable. Currently, public service routes (from Naples and Palermo to Cagliari and vice versa; from Civitavecchia to Arbatax and Cagliari and vice versa) are excluded from the EU ETS.
