Older passengers are always welcome aboard Grimaldi Lines ships, where they can travel in maximum comfort and with their own vehicle.
Adults aged 60 and over will enjoy a 20% discount – excluding fixed fees and EU ETS costs – on the ferry fare.
The offer is valid for departures from February 4, 2026 to May 31, 2026 and from October 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 on selected ferry connections to/from Sardinia, Sicily, and Spain.
The New Senior offer includes a 20% discount—excluding fixed fees, EU ETS* costs, and onboard services—on the ferry fare for adults aged 60 or over.
The discount applies to bookings from February 4, 2026 to December 31, 2026 for departures from February 4, 2026 to May 31, 2026 and from October 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026** on the following ferry routes:
• Livorno-Olbia and vice versa
• Livorno-Palermo and vice versa
• Naples-Palermo and vice versa
• Civitavecchia-Porto Torres and vice versa (** departures for this route are currently available for sale until October 29, 2026)
• Civitavecchia-Barcelona and vice versa (** departures for this route are currently available for sale until November 1, 2026)
• Porto Torres-Barcelona and vice versa (** departures for this route are currently available for sale until October 29, 2026)
The 20% discount applies exclusively to the ferry fare for Senior passengers, i.e., those aged 60 or over. The discount does not apply to fixed fees, EU ETS* costs, or supplements for accommodation, pets, and vehicles. It does not apply to onboard services (such as meals, wellness center, Wi-Fi, and pets in cabin) or insurance policies.
The discount is obtained by selecting and/or indicating the Senior product during booking and choosing the special rate.
The promotion can be combined with other offers active at the time of booking, with agreements/partnerships/other discount codes, and with the resident rate, unless otherwise specified in the relevant terms and conditions.
Tickets issued with the New Senior promotion are non-refundable, but can be changed under the current conditions of the special rate.
*Pursuant to Directive (EU) 2023/959, maritime transport has been included in the European Union’s greenhouse gas emission allowance trading system (EU ETS). The obligations imposed on shipping companies, particularly the obligation to purchase allowances, result in increased maritime transport costs. Therefore, starting January 1, 2024, a charge called “EU ETS costs” has been incorporated into the ticket price for each passenger and each vehicle. The amount varies depending on the route and is non-discountable and non-refundable. Currently, public service routes (from Naples and Palermo to Cagliari and vice versa; from Civitavecchia to Arbatax and Cagliari and vice versa) are excluded from the EU ETS system.
