Ferry offer for all senior passengers (over 60)
Description of the “Senior” offer:
Grimaldi Lines applies a special 20% discount – fixed dues, EU ETS costs* and on boad services excluded – to the ticket in which almost one over 60 passenger is included, for the sea lines to/from Sardinia, Greece (from/to Brindisi; for departures from 27/1/25 also from/to Ancona), Sicily and Spain.
The offer is not valid for the following lines: Naples – Cagliari – Palermo and Civitavecchia – Arbatax – Cagliari and vice versa.
The promotion is valid for bookings until 31/12/2025 for departures until 31/05/2025 and from 01/09/2025 to 31/12/2025.
The 20% discount is applicable on passage by vessel, accommodation supplements and accompanying vehicles.
The discount is not applied to fixed dues, EU ETS costs*, travel cancellation insurance and on-board services (such as meals, pet in cabin, wi-fi, etc.).
The promotion is not applied automatically, but is obtained by entering the word “SENIOR” in the appropriate “discount code” field. The senior offer applies only to tickets with a special fare level.
The promotion can be combined with the other special offers active at the time of booking, it cannot be combined with agreements and with resident/native rates.
The promotion has no retroactive effect. Tickets are non-refundable, but can be changed according to the current conditions of special fare tickets.
*Under Directive (EU) 2023/959, shipping has been included in the European Union’s greenhouse gas emission allowance trading system (“EU ETS”). The obligations placed on shipping companies, particularly the obligation to purchase allowances, lead to an increase in the cost of maritime transport. Therefore, as of January 1st, 2024, an item called ‘EU ETS costs’ will be incorporated into the ticket price for each passenger and each vehicle, which varies in amount depending on the route and is neither discountable nor refundable. At present, public service routes (from Naples and Palermo to Cagliari and vice versa; from Civitavecchia to Arbatax and Cagliari and vice versa) are excluded from the application of the EU ETS.
