Discount election – Municipality of Lesina (FG). Elections of the mayor and the city council. Renewal of electoral operations in sections n. 1, 2, 3, 4, on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 July 2026, with a possible run-off round on Sunday 9 and Monday 10 August 2026
Following judgment no. 4360/2026, published on 10 June 2026, the Council of State, Fifth Section, dismissed the appeal lodged against the judgment of the Regional Administrative Court Apulia No. 71/2026, confirming the provisions regarding the re-run of the elections for the renewal of the office of mayor and the municipal council of Lesina (FG) held on 25 and 26 May 2025, limited to polling stations Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4. The Prefect of Foggia, by decree of 4 June 2026, convened the polling stations for the aforementioned repeat election for Sunday 26 and Monday 27 July 2026.
On Sunday 9 and Monday 10 August 2026, a run-off election for the mayor may take place in all six polling stations within the municipality, should there be a tie between the candidates who received the highest number of votes following the first round of voting. Voting will take place on Sunday 26 July, from 7 am to 11 pm, and on Monday 27 July 2026, from 7 am to 3 pm.
We therefore inform you that a discount has been created on the occasion of the above-mentioned elections.
This offer provides a 60% discount on eligible fares (passenger, accommodation, vehicle and pet) exclusively on the following scheduled ferry routes:
• Civitavecchia – Cagliari – Arbatax and vice versa
• Naples – Cagliari – Palermo and vice versa
In accordance with the guidelines received from the Ministry:
– The discount applies to bookings and departures up to August,12 2026
– The discount cannot be combined with the RESIDENT rate; the customer must choose between the standard rate with a 60% discount or the resident rate
– In order to benefit from the reduced-fare tickets, voters must present, for the outward journey, their voter registration card or a substitute declaration certifying that the reduced-fare ticket has been purchased to travel to the location of their registered polling station, in order to exercise their right to vote, together with a valid identity document. For the return journey, they must present, together with a valid identity document, their voter registration card bearing confirmation that they have voted.
