CHECK- IN
Before boarding passengers have to check-in at the Passenger Terminal. At the check-in desk they have to show the ticket and a valid ID document for all travelling passengers. They will receive the individual Boarding Pass. For passengers travelling in cabin, the Boarding Pass is also the cabin key, which has to be kept during the duration of the voyage.

Limit for check-in is 2 hours before sailing for passengers with a vehicle and for foot passengers. For all sailings to and from Tunis and Morocco the limit for check-in is 3 hours before sailing, with or without a vehicle. Check-in to/from Morocco and Tunisia lines closes one hour before departure.Passengers arriving at the check-in desk later loose the right for embarkation, even holding a valid reservation.

The vehicles are embarked according to the instructions given by the Master or his delegate and can be parked on   any deck of the vessel.
For Security reasons, the name of the passengers and the details of their ID document, the maker, the model and the registration number of the vehicle have to correspond with what is written on the ticket. If this is not the case access to the port and to the vessel may be refused.

The fares are expressed in €uro.

Tariffs is conditioned by the number of passengers occupying a cabin (except children under 2 years old)

FIXED DUES

For Spain, Tunisia, Morocco, Sardinia and Sicily: € 25,00 per passenger and leg (except infants – children up to 11 years old)

FUEL SURCHARGE

For Greece : € 5,00 per passenger, vehicle and leg

CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT

The ticket is payable at time of reservation.

CONDITIONS OF CANCELLATION

Cancellations have to be notified to the carrier in writing, either direct or through the booking agent. For cancellations made by the passenger the following penalties apply on the total amount of the passage fare (passengers, car or pet if applicable):

  1. 10% penalty (plus fixed dues) for cancellations made until 30 days prior so sailing
  2. 30% penalty (plus fixed dues) for cancellations made between 29 and 7 days prior to sailing
  3. 50% penalty (plus fixed dues) for cancellations made between 6 and 2 days prior to sailing
  4. 100% penalty (plus fixed dues) for cancellations made the day prior to sailing, the day of sailing or for no-show.

Special fare tickets are non refundable.

No refund is due for missed embarkation due to authority’s refusal to let a passenger embark or for lack of proper documentation for the passengers, vehicles or pets.

CONDITIONS FOR MODIFICATIONS
Tickets and Bookings can be modified at a cost of € 30, plus the difference in value between the new ticket and the original one.
The following modifications are possible:

  1. Change of sailing date, until 2 days prior to the outward journey (for later changes, the cancellation fees apply). It is possible to make maximum two changes od dates for each ticket.
  2. Change of accommodation, until day of sailing
  3. Change of vehicle, until day of sailing
  4. Change of name, until 2 days prior to departure (for later changes, the cancellation fees apply)
  5. Addition of passenger, until day of sailing
  6. Addition of vehicle, until day of sailing
  7. Addition of pet, until day of sailing

Modifications and additions are subject to availability. Modifications have to be notified to the Carrier in writing, either direct or through the booking agent. The Carrier reserves the right to change the conditions for modification of bookings and for termination of contract by the passenger on specified departures.

Tickets with Advanced Booking, Superbonus, SuperFamily&Friends, Return Discount Greece and SuperMotorhome Spain and Sardinia special fare can be modified up to two days before departure. 
Tickets with Return Discount special fare for Morocco and Tunisia lines can be modified up to two days before the outward journey. 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Citizens of an EU country:
•  for Tunisia and Morocco, a valid passport is required.
•  for EU countries (Italy, Spain, Greece, Sicily and Sardinia) a valid ID-card or a valid passport is required.

Citizens of a non European country subject to visa obligation in Schengen zone:
•  need a valid passport and an alien’s residence permit or visa for a country belonging to the Schengen zone

VEHICLES CATEGORIES

As accompanied vehicles are accepted only vehicle not containing any commercial goods or goods destined to commercialization. Vehicle containing such goods have to be shipped as cargo. Trucks, jumbos, trailers, buses with or without driver has to be shipped as cargo. If a vehicle shows up at embarkation corresponding to a vehicle category different to the one mentioned on the ticket, the passenger looses the right for embarkation with no reimbursement.

For the lines from/to Morocco cabin passengers are allowed to bring two hand luggage for personal belongings . Exceeding hand luggage can be stored in a Grimaldi container at the embarkation paying € 10,00 per piece. Exceeding luggage as household good and other heavy items, not stored in or on top of the vehicle, can be deposited in a container at the embarkation paying € 35,00 per piece.

RMP
The Ro/Pax vessels have 2 special cabins for PRM (Persons with reduced mobility).

 

HEALTH AND VACCINATION

Passengers are presumed in sound health, both physically and mentally and suffering from no illness, complaint or infirmity, and are aware of the fact that the vessels do not carry a physician. However the vessel disposes of a first aid station and a cabin\hospital.

PETS
Pets have to travel in the kennel and need to have the European Pet Passport (PET).
They are not allowed in the cabins and other passenger areas. They have to travel in the kennel and wear the muzzle
